SC: Court Can’t Suspend License of Doctor as Penalty in Contempt Proceedings - (31 Jul 2023)

CONTEMPT OF COURT

Supreme Court while observing that Courts must not be hypersensitive or swung by emotions but must act judiciously while exercising contempt jurisdiction, has held that license of a medical practitioner cannot be suspended as a penalty in contempt proceedings.
