SC: Passport Authority Can’t Unauthorizedly Retain Passport Without Impounding it - (27 Jul 2023)

Supreme Court while granting relief to a man whose passport was handed over to passport authority by police in the name of a pending criminal case, has held that the Passport authority can’t unauthorizedly retain a passport handed over by the Police without impounding it.
