Delhi HC: Severity of Allegations Can’t be Justification for Pre-Trial Incarceration - (21 Jul 2023)

CRIMINAL

Delhi High Court has observed that even though economic offences are serious in nature and the allegations if proved at the trial, must be met with requisite punishment, however the severity of the allegations by themselves cannot be justification for pre-trial incarceration.
