AP HC: Non-Disclosure of Criminal Cases by Contesting Person Amounts to Corrupt Practice under RPA - (17 Jul 2023)

ELECTION

Andhra Pradesh High Court while observing that purity of the election process will only be ensured if the voter knows his candidate fully, has held that non-disclosure of criminal cases against an election candidate amounts to corrupt practice under Representation of the Peoples Act, 1951.
