Del HC: Subsidy Received as Incentive to Establish Industrial Unit is Capital Receipt - (10 Jul 2023)

DIRECT TAXATION

Delhi High Court has held that if the subsidy received by assessee is an incentive given to establish an industrial unit in a backward area and, thus, generate employment for local inhabitants is a capital receipt.
