Bom HC: JJB’s Decision to Try Child as Adult Must be Transparent and Fair - (03 Jul 2023)

CRIMINAL

Bombay High Court has held that inquiry by Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) under Section 15 of J.J. Act to arrive at a conclusion to try the child as an adult, has to be conducted in a transparent and fair manner, and must display adherence to the basic procedural standards of fairness.
