All HC: Police Duty Bound to Record in Writing Reasons for Arrest - (30 Jun 2023)

CRIMINAL

Allahabad High Court has held that police officer is duty-bound to record the reasons for arrest in writing, and consequence of non-compliance with Section 41 shall certainly inure to the benefit of the person suspected of the offence.
