SC Affirms HC’s Order for Deployment of Central Forces for Panchayat Elections in West Bengal - (20 Jun 2023)

Supreme Court has affirmed the direction of Calcutta High Court which directed West Bengal State Election Commission to requisition central forces for all districts in West Bengal for the 2023 Panchayat Elections.
