Kar HC Refuses to Quash FIR Against Gynecologist for Failing to Report Sexual Assault Against Minor - (08 Jun 2023)

CRIMINAL

Karnataka High Court has refused to quash FIR filed against a Gynecologist under Section 21 of POCSO Act for failure to report incident of sexual assault on a minor and observed that merely because punishment is six months, it can’t be said that petitioner should be left off the hook at this stage.
