Cal. HC: Being Tagged In Comments on Social Media Doesn’t Confer Liability on Person Being Tagged - (05 Jun 2023)

Calcutta High Court while quashing proceedings against accused of spreading communal hatred through comments on social media, has observed that being tagged in comments on social media by any other person necessarily doesn’t confer any liability or responsibility on person being tagged.
