Mad. HC: Punishing Person Without Proper Identification Directly Impinges Personal Liberty - (01 Jun 2023)

Madras High Court while setting aside conviction of man charged for robbery has highlighted need for Test Identification Parade (TIP) and observed that punishing a person without proper identification will directly impinge his personal liberty guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution.
