Delhi HC: Faceless Assessment Is Not a Fundamental Right - (29 May 2023)

DIRECT TAXATION

Delhi HC, while dismissing the plea of Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Aam Aadmi Party, has held that neither the e-assessment nor the faceless assessment scheme modifies the power to transfer cases from one Assessing Officer to another Assessing Officer who are holding non-concurrent charges.
