SC: Electricity Dues Can be Recovered by Subsequent Occupier of Premises - (22 May 2023)

ELECTRICITY

Supreme Court while upholding the condition enabling distribution licensee to insist on clearance of electricity dues of previous consumer before resuming electricity supply to the premises has ruled that dues of previous occupier can be recovered from subsequent occupier.
