SC: TN Highways Act Can't be Invalidated Due to Variance from RFCTLARR Act - (10 May 2023)

LAND ACQUISITION

Supreme Court has held that Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001 is not liable to be invalidated on ground that its provisions manifest discrimination or arbitrariness when compared with provisions of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
