Madras HC's Observation on Victims’ Right to Prefer Appeals - (06 May 2016)

Madras HC has held that a victim of a criminal offence would not cease to fall under definition of term ‘victim’ and lose his right to prefer appeal before higher judicial forums merely because he also happened to be complainant in private complaint lodged against accused before lower court .
