SC: HC Can’t Conduct Mini Trial Under Section 482 of CrPC - (12 Apr 2023)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court while observing that at the stage of quashing of criminal proceedings under Section 482 CrPC, Court is not required to conduct a mini trial, has held that Court is only required to consider if sufficient material is available to proceed further against the accused.
