Del. HC: Victim’s Mere Apprehension No Ground to Transfer Rape Case from Male Judge - (10 Apr 2023)

CRIMINAL

Delhi High Court while refusing to transfer rape case from Court of a male judge to a female judge's court on mere apprehension of victim, held that such a situation would create a precedent opening floodgates where all rape cases would be required to be transferred to woman judges.
