SC Refuses to Allow Plea by Opposition Parties Against Misuse of CBI & ED by Government - (06 Apr 2023)

Supreme Court while refusing to entertain plea filed by fourteen political parties alleging that central investigating agencies (ED, CBI) are being weaponized by Union Government to clamp down on dissent, observed that political leaders cannot claim a higher immunity than ordinary citizens.
