Cal. HC: Prosecutor’s Opinion Must be Based on materials collected by the Investigating Officer - (05 Apr 2023)

CRIMINAL

Calcutta High Court while expressing displeasure at conduct of public prosecutor (PP) for not raising objection to bail application, observed that PP are representative of State, they may have their opinion but such opinion must be based on materials collected by Investigating Officer.
