Bom HC Stays Felling Of 177 Trees at Aarey Colony - (03 Apr 2023)

ENVIRONMENT

Bombay High Court has restrained Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation from felling 177 trees at Aarey Forest without MMRCL seeking a clarification from the Supreme Court, as the same is beyond the liberty granted by the Apex Court which granted permission to the extent of 84 trees.
