SC: Const. Courts Can Impose Life Sentence for Fixed Term Without Remission - (30 Mar 2023)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court has held that even in case where capital punishment is not imposed, Constitutional Courts can impose fixed term sentence by directing that a life sentence, for a minimum term (not less than 14 years) without remission.
