SC Division Bench Give Split Verdict on Issue of Scope of Review When Judgment Relied is Overruled - (20 Mar 2023)

CIVIL

Supreme Court division bench gave a split verdict on scope of review when the judgment relied on in impugned order and all subsequent judgment that followed it is eventually overruled by a superior court. Justice MR Shah allowed review petitions while Justice BV Nagarathna opined against it.
