Del. HC: Consent to Stay in Man’s Company Not Basis to Infer Woman Consented to Sexual Liaison - (15 Mar 2023)

CRIMINAL

Delhi High Court while observing that distinction needs to be articulated between “consenting to a situation vs. “consenting to sexual liaison”, has held that merely because woman consents to being in company of a man can never be basis to infer that she had consented to sexual liaison with him.
