SC to Centre/State: Amend CP Rules on Appointment Process of Commission Members - (15 Mar 2023)

Supreme Court has directed Centre & States to comply with direction in Secretary, Ministry of Consumer Affairs v. Dr. Mahindra Bhaskar Limaye (MANU/SC/0203/2023) that amendments to Consumer Protection Rules pertaining to appointment process at Consumer Dispute forums must be made on an urgent basis.
