SC: Order of Compulsory Retirement Can be Set Aside if Found to be Punitive - (07 Mar 2023)

SERVICE

Supreme Court has observed that order of compulsory retirement can be set aside if it is punitive in nature and was passed to circumvent the pending disciplinary proceedings against the Officer, to ensure his immediate removal.
