Meg. HC: Application U/S 12 DV Act Not a Complaint - (06 Mar 2023)

CRIMINAL

Meghalaya High Court while observing that application under Section 12 of Domestic Violence Act is not a complaint, has held that procedure and proceedings prescribed under Section 200-204 CrPC cannot be pursued by the parties or by the Magistrate.
