SC to Centre: Ascertain Number of Tiger Deaths in Recent Past - (06 Mar 2023)

ENVIRONMENT

Supreme Court while hearing petition seeking to relocate human settlements for reserve forests so as to save tiger population, has directed Centre to ascertain the number of deaths of tigers in the country in the recent past.
