SC: Different Pay for Similar Post Allowed if There is Reasonable Classification - (23 Feb 2023)

SERVICE

Supreme Court has held that if classification of posts and determination of pay scale have reasonable nexus with the objective or purpose sought to be achieved, then Pay Commissions may be justified in recommending different pay scales for seemingly similar posts.
