Gauhati HC Imposes Cost on ERO for Referring Ret. Army Officer to Foreigners Tribunal - (21 Feb 2023)

Gauhati High Court has imposed a cost of Rs. 10,000 on Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) of for referring a retired army personnel who has rendered a service of 38 years, to Foreigners Tribunal for adjudication of his citizenship.
