JKL HC: Accused Can't Choose Place of Prosecution Citing Unfounded Security Apprehensions - (14 Feb 2023)

CRIMINAL

Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court while dismissing plea filed by social activist seeking transfer of a defamation complaint, has observed that accused cannot be allowed to have a place of his choice to be prosecuted by taking refuge of unfounded personal security apprehensions.
