SC: Charitable Purpose Not Limited to Free Medical Relief - (10 Feb 2023)

Supreme Court has overruled its Division bench judgement in SH Medical Centre Hospital vs State of Kerala & Ors (MANU/SC/0035/2014) to the extent it held that ‘charitable purpose’ meant only ‘relief of the poor and free medical relief’.
