SC: Armed Forces Personnel Liable to Face Disciplinary Action for Adultery - (01 Feb 2023)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court Constitution Bench has held that striking down of Section 497 of IPC which criminalized adultery will not impact court martial proceedings initiated against personnel serving the armed forces for adulterous conduct.
