Bombay HC to State: Compensate Man Named in Baseless FIR - (06 Jan 2023)

Bombay High Court while directing State to compensation a man for lodging FIR despite no offence having been disclosed, has observed that police being the custodian of law, need to be more circumspect and cautious whilst registering FIR’s.
