SC: Testimony of Hostile Witness Can be Considered to Convict Accused - (16 Dec 2022)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court Constitution bench while observing that witness turning hostile does not result in automatic rejection of evidence has held that there is no legal bar to raise a conviction upon a hostile witness testimony if corroborated by other reliable evidence.
