Bombay HC: Child Raised in Orphanage Can’t Be Declared Orphan if Biological Parents Are Alive - (02 Nov 2022)

Bombay High Court has held that children though brought up in an orphanage cannot be declared as orphans as defined under Section 2(42) of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 if their biological parents are alive.
