SC: Whether Govt. Can Take Over Cricketing Activities of BCCI - (15 Apr 2016)

SC has moved a proposal to have Government take over “public functions” of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) through a law enacted in Parliament amid objections from Board’s members that this will be a direct affront to the cricketing body’s identity as a private registered society.
