Bom HC: Class I & II Officers May be Exempted from Recovery of Excess Payment in Exceptional Cases - (22 Sep 2022)

Bombay High Court while granting protection to retired Junior Assistant (Class II officer) against recovery of excess salary and benefits erroneously paid to him by the Water Resources Department of State during his service, has held that recovery after 23 years of retirement would be arbitrary.
