SC: Court Can Only Look Into Prima Facie Case & Decide if Prosecution Case is Groundless - (06 Sep 2022)

Supreme Court while explaining the scope of exercise of power to discharge an accused under Section 239 of CrPC, has held that only consideration at the stage of Section 239/240 is as to whether the allegation/charge is groundless.
