NCDRC Awards 1 Crore Compensation to Parents for Death of Child During Eye Correction Surgery - (31 Aug 2022)

CONSUMER

National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, New Delhi has awarded compensation of Rs. 1 Crore to parents of 6 year old child who died due to gross medical negligence and deficiency in service Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, during a squint eye correction surgery.
