SC Refuses to Issue Guidelines on Compensation for Victims of Wrongful Prosecution - (22 Aug 2022)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court while dismissing petitions seeking uniform compensation code for victims of wrongful prosecution, has held that it will it will create a lot of complications as it will amount to adding a layer to the criminal process and urged government agencies to take appropriate action.
