Madras HC to SBC: Verify Advocates' Past Before Allowing Them To Hold Posts In Statutory Committees - (22 Aug 2022)

Madras High Court has directed the State Bar Council (SBC) of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry to verify the antecedents of lawyers before they are permitted to hold significant positions in the statutory committees.
