SC: Can't Entertain Plea to Declare Minorities at District Level - (08 Aug 2022)

Supreme Court has held that it cannot entertain a prayer to identify religious and linguistic minorities at district level, as it is contrary to the precedents which hold that such identification must be carried out at State level.
