Supreme Court Upholds Validity of Prevention of Money Laundering Act - (27 Jul 2022)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court has upheld the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002 which relate to the power of arrest, attachment, and search & seizure conferred on the Enforcement Directorate, including the twin conditions for bail under Section 45 of PMLA.
