Karnataka HC: Abuses Hurled in Basement Which was Not in Public View is Not Offence - (22 Jun 2022)

CRIMINAL

Karnataka High Court while quashing proceedings under Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015, has held that abuses hurled to the complainant in basement not offence as it was not a public place.
