CESTAT: Credit Availed on Service Tax Paid on Deposit Insurance Service Eligible for CENVAT Credit - (13 Jun 2022)

SERVICE TAX

Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT), Chennai bench has held that credit availed by the Indian Overseas Bank on the Service Tax paid to the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation for insuring deposits is eligible for CENVAT Credit.
