ITAT Condones Delay in Filing Audit Report Due to Illness of Accountant - (10 Jun 2022)

DIRECT TAXATION

Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), Pune bench has condoned a delay in filing audit report since the Accountant of the assessee was undergoing medical treatment. The bench stated that Income Tax Act is welfare legislation and therefore practical difficulties of assessee must be considered.
