Karnataka HC: Consent of Wife Immaterial for Offence of Bigamy - (07 Jun 2022)

Karnataka High Court has held that bigamy under Section 494 of the Indian Penal Code is a continuing offence and the consent of wife for the subsequent marriage would become immaterial for consideration of the offence
