Madras HC: Criminal Case Not Bar for Issue of Passport when Accused Wants to Return to India - (01 Jun 2022)

Madras High Court has held that pendency of a criminal case that is at the FIR stage is not a bar for the issuance of a passport and permission is required when the concerned person wants to leave India and not when the person wants to come back to India.
