Calcutta HC: Compensation Cannot be Denied by State Only on Ground of Delay - (27 May 2022)

LAND ACQUISITION

Calcutta High Court has held that in case of land acquisition, State cannot deny its obligation to pay compensation only on ground of delay since Right to Property is guaranteed under Article 300A of the Constitution.
