Kerala HC Dismisses Bus Operators' Plea for Extension of Tax Exemption Granted During Covid - (20 May 2022)

DIRECT TAXATION

Kerala High Court has dismissed a batch of petitions filed by private bus operators seeking an extension of the tax exemption granted to them owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. Court stated that there is ‘No Legitimate Expectation’ as exemption was granted for reasonable period.
